The Sacraments Make
Grace Visible

That moment—when your child was baptized, or when you said “I do”—isn’t just a memory, it’s part of your family’s story. Our prints help your family remember and celebrate key moments that shape your story and echo into eternity.

Baptism

By water and the Holy Spirit

Help your children draw upon the grace of their baptism, when they received God's grace and became a new creation in Christ. Our Baptism print preserves that sacred moment to remind your family of the joy and light of this first sacrament.

My daughter gifted me this print and it means the world to me. When I walk by it, I still tear up thinking about the moment my son laid down on the floor of that church. It’s not just a photo — it’s a reminder of the day he gave his life fully to God.

After my husband’s ordination, our lives changed in a beautiful way. Having that print in our home reminds us both that his ministry is something we’re called to together. It’s simple, but it means so much. Sometimes I catch him stopping to look at it too — and I know it’s grounding him, just like it grounds me.

Loving Grandparents

We have our grandson’s First Communion print hanging in the hallway, and every time he visits, he stops and looks at it. He’ll say things like, ‘That’s the day I got Jesus!’ and ask us to tell the story again. It’s become this sweet little tradition — the print starts the conversation, and then we get to share the meaning behind the Eucharist in a way that really sticks.

My kids can’t stop looking at the print of their baptisms. They love pointing to their names, asking who their godparents are, and hearing the story of that special day. Even our wedding print has sparked sweet conversations — they ask what church we were married in and if their dad cried! These prints have become more than decorations — they’ve become part of how we share our faith and family story.

who we are

How did Modern Memoir come about?

We both wanted to frame our children's sacramental certificates. The problem? While deeply meaningful, those certificates weren’t designed to be displayed in a place of honor in the home.

We still hung them up, but they didn’t exactly add beauty to the room.We wanted to create something different — a simple and beautiful way for families to remember life’s sacred moments.

How amazing would it be if our children could name the date of their Baptism or First Communion as easily as they recall their birthday? Modern Memoir was born from a desire to help families live a richer Catholic life by keeping the grace of the sacraments visible, daily, and woven into the fabric of home.
